The olive neoprene face mask is a must for cold weather, sports use and face protection. Covering nose, lower cheek, mouth, chin, and the back of the head, the neoprene face mask offers excellent lower head protection without interfering with the wearing of safety eyewear and protective headgear. The mouth has small ventilation holes which are designed to allow for sound and air to pass through more easily, thereby reducing the effect of fogging inside safety glasses without compromising on the protective effects of the neoprene material. The bottom of the nose is similarly kept open for easier ventilation. Neoprene is a type of synthetic rubber foam developed in the 1930s to be used in protective clothing and wetsuits and is noted for durability, water resistance, insulation, abrasion resistance and chemical and fire resistance. The mask is lightweight enough to be worn without being too noticeable during movement. The mask material is approximately 1.5 to 2mm thick throughout and is sewn together over the front of the mouth and chin with seamless stitching. The mask is designed to fit all adult sized faces, with a velcro adjustment around the back of the head.
